Employee & Company Relationship
Either you can choose as a W2 Employee or 1099 Subcontractor (Independent Contractor), that’s your choice
If you are on W2
- Group Health Insurance (As compared to current market our plan is the best because its grandfathered plan)
- Paid vacation time (PTO) and holidays & Sick Leaves
- 401K plan,
- Per diems as per IRS & State tax Table
- We also provide assistance for your Personal State(s) and Federal Tax Returns filing
If you are on 1099 Subcontractor
- We pay your State and Federal Tax Liability
- We File your Year End Form 1096 with IRS
- We also provide State(s) and Federal Tax Returns filing assistance
- If it is Business Related Expenses, you can also save tax on your expenses, because all expenses will be Reimbursed by verifying all supporting documents (Receipts) and subject to Federal and State rule guidelines.
- Mileage Reimbursement as per the IRS Tax table
- We also provide assistance for your Business State(s) and Federal Tax Returns filing
- You will make decision about your bill rate with the Client
- We ALWAYS works at percentage basis
- Need not to spend money / time to start new company to join as Subcontractor or Contract-to-Hire position
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) facility for Spouse and dependents
- For In-House Projects, you will have freedom to modify/cancel/revoke your agreement anytime by giving 1-week notice but subject to Client Agreement if you are working at Client site. There is no binding contract between VISoft and you, but if there is any minimum notice period class added in the Client agreement you must fulfil that minimum notice period to leave the project
- We sponsor Non-Immigrant Temporary Work Permits (H1B) for Eligible OPTs, and we also sponsor Immigrant Full-time Employment (Permanent Resident/Green Card) for Eligible candidates
- Full Time Opportunity: If your skills are matched well enough to the company where you are working as a Contractor, you may be offered permanent employment with that company. Should this happen, staffing company typically charges a fee 25% of your offered yearly salary to client. But we don’t charge any Fee and you can join the client company as a Full-time employee ANYTIME without paying ANY amount**
** If YOU find the project (JOB) and Client on your own no need to pay any fee to join the client as a Full-Time employee but whereas placement done by VISoft and client introduced by VISoft, YOU or CLIENT must pay the one-time conversion fee of 18% your offered annual salary.
